What is Axie Bounty Board?
The Axie Bounty Board is a comprehensive daily questing system within the Axie Infinity ecosystem that allows players to earn AXS (Axie Infinity Shards) rewards by completing various tasks across different Axie games.
The system is designed to enhance gameplay experience and encourage regular participation in the Axie universe.
Why axie marketplace need a quest system?
In 2024, we identified an opportunity to better connect our thriving gaming community with our marketplace ecosystem. While players actively engaged with games using their Axie teams, marketplace participation remained relatively low.
Following Axie-core principles, we envision the marketplace as more than a trading platform—it's where the essential Axie experience unfolds
To incentivize cross-platform engagement and create a more integrated user experience, we introduced a quest system that began with 4 quests and now features 5, strategically designed to reward both gaming accomplishments and ecosystem-wide activities.
The Bounty Board System
Launched as a daily quest system within App.Axie, it transforms routine gameplay into rewarded activities that bridge the gap between gaming and marketplace interactions. The system operates on a weekly basis with daily 24-hour cycles and resets at 10:00AM UTC+7, ensuring consistent daily engagement opportunities for the global Axie community.
Standard Bounty Board
Entry-level accessibility for all qualified players (3+ Axies requirement)
Five consistent daily bounties covering core ecosystem activities
Point accumulation system leading to Premier Ticket rewards (1000 points = 1 ticket)
Focus on establishing daily habits and basic ecosystem familiarity
Serves as the foundation for deeper engagement progression
Premier Bounty Board
Advanced tier requiring Premier Tickets (earned through Standard Board) or 200 Fortune Slips
Dynamic quest variety with four difficulty tiers: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Master
Strategic re-rolling mechanics (up to 10 times per quest daily) with escalating Fortune Slip costs
Master quests offer immediate AXS rewards from limited pools (first-come-first-serve basis)
Weekly reset cycle creating sustained engagement periods
Leaderboard system fostering competitive community dynamics

Strategic Insights
Smart Problem-Solution Fit The bounty board elegantly addresses a classic Web3 gaming challenge: how to drive holistic ecosystem engagement when users naturally gravitate toward the most entertaining components. By gamifying the marketplace and cross-platform activities, it transforms what could feel like "homework" into rewarded gameplay.
Behavioral Design Excellence The two-tiered system (Standard → Premier) creates a natural progression funnel that respects different user commitment levels while providing clear advancement pathways. The 1000-point ticket system is particularly clever—it's achievable enough to feel attainable but substantial enough to represent meaningful engagement.
Potential Challenges
Complexity Barrier The system has significant depth (Standard vs Premier, tickets vs Fortune Slips, various game modes, reroll mechanics) which might overwhelm new users. The learning curve could inadvertently exclude casual participants.
Economic Sustainability Questions With shared reward pools, the system's attractiveness diminishes as participation grows unless the AXS allocation scales accordingly. There's an inherent tension between broad adoption and individual reward value.
